Welcome at Red & White Restaurant Taormina, my name is Gianluca Savoca, born in Taormina, where I’ve experienced many years in the restaurant business. During 2016, I opened Red and White Restaurant Taormina with the will to make people taste as much as I’ve learned during my travels around Europe.
A restaurant with a concept: only high quality ingredients, selecting most of them among what Sicily offers. From wine to fish, at Red and White you will find always delicious recipes that respect Sicilian tradition but still mixes a little of modernity into them. In all of our dishes the main protagonist is always the ingredient, fresh and delicious carefully selected among the best that Sicily as to offers us.
Carefully selected, we choose our staff not only on professional qualities, but also on the passion that they show for this type of work.
An excellent culinary experience can be provided starting from a good service, careful about customers needs, the chef does the rest! At Red & White you will always find a family more than a simple staff, letting you get involved into Sicilian traditions and food.
Born in 2014 as a wine bar, became a true restaurant in Taormina during 2016, with a wine list provided of more than 350 labels.
For the first time in Taormina, you will be able to taste or order a glass of any wine selected and provided in our wine list. Starting from the most unique to the best quality / price, Wine Tasting Taormina at Red & White is a true experience into Sicilian Wine Production followed by typical products of the island: Cold cuts, Cheese, Fresh Bred and so on…

The Wine research is done by selecting exclusive Vineyards from small productions, which respect the Sicilian traditions.
90% of the products we use are part of the SlowFood program: Nebrodi Ham, Vastedda del Belice Cheese, Maiorchino of Novara (Sicilian equivalent of the well know Parmigiano) Donkey Mortadella and much more.
